"COMPANY OF THE YEAR 2023" AWARD HAS BEEN APPOINTED TO GRID TELECOM AT THE 25TH INFOCOM WORLD CONFERENCE

The honorary distinction "Company of the Year" for 2023 was received by Grid Telecom, a subsidiary company and telecommunications services provider of ADMIE, during a special event in the context of the 25th annual IT, Cybersecurity and Telecommunications conference "InfoCom World". The award was presented to the Director of Grid Telecom, Mr. Giorgos Psyrris by the Minister of Digital Governance, Mr. Dimitris Papastergiou.

Grid Telecom's award at the "InfoCom Awards" came as a result of a demanding evaluation by a special committee that highlighted the pioneering companies, services, products and market personalities that stood out in the past year.

"The awarding of the title of "Company of the Year" confirms the dynamic course of Grid Telecom which, although only four years old, is establishing itself as a player to be reckoned with in the Greek and regional telecommunications market. We will continue with the same desire to create new synergies both within Greece and abroad, contributing with our infrastructure to the digital transformation and the emergence of the country as a data transfer hub", said Mr. Psyrris on the occasion of the award.

In a presentation he made at the conference, the Director of Grid Telecom detailed the company's participation in major fiber optic interconnection projects in SE Europe and the Eastern Mediterranean. As he said, these projects form new digital corridors for even faster data traffic between Europe, Asia and Africa, through Greece. Mr. Psyrris added that the international telecommunication infrastructures launched with the assistance of Grid Telecom, also give a substantial boost to the rapidly growing domestic market of data centers, with multiple benefits for the national economy, while creating the conditions for the country's development into one of the most important digital hubs of the Mediterranean in the upcoming years.
